About this day out
The Wye Valley Greenway is a shared-use countryside path linking Chepstow and Tintern through the Wye Valley. The route passes through Tidenham Tunnel, an important bat roost that opens seasonally from April to September. The path is suitable for walkers, cyclists, wheelchairs, and pushchairs.

Path open 24 hours, 365 days a year. Tidenham Tunnel seasonal: 1 Apr–30 Apr 8am–6pm; 1 May–15 Aug 7am–7pm; 16 Aug–30 Sep 8am–6pm; 1 Oct–31 Mar tunnel closed.
