Skipton Castle is one of the most complete and best-preserved medieval castles in England, featuring an early Tudor courtyard and historic rooms such as the Banqueting Hall and Dungeon. Visitors can explore the castle via a self-guiding one-way route that takes up to an hour and a half.

- Dogs
- Dogs are allowed on a short lead within the Castle and woods, but are not permitted in the Tearoom and Shop.
