About this day out
The Runway Visitor Park is an outdoor attraction adjacent to Manchester Airport featuring retired aircraft such as Concorde G-BOAC, a Nimrod, and a Trident. Visitors can view planes taking off and landing from a raised viewing mound and access facilities including a cafe, shop, and flight simulator.

Main Park: Jan-Feb 8am-4pm, Mar 8am-5pm, Apr 8am-6pm, May 8am-7pm, Jun-Aug 8am-8pm. Shop: Jan-Feb 9am-3pm, Mar 9am-4pm, Apr 9am-5pm, May 9am-6pm. Reception/Cafe: Jan-Mar & Oct-Dec 8am-3:30pm, Apr-Sep 8am-5:30pm.

Prices at a glance
- Admission
- Free admission for visitors arriving by public transport, on foot, or by bicycle. Car and Motorbike parking charges: £6 up to 2 hours, £12 from 2 to 4 hours, £15 for over 4 hours. Coach Parking: £15 flat rate.

- The main Viewing Mound, Concorde Hangar, Conference Centre, and Ringways Restaurant are wheelchair accessible. There are two sets of accessible toilets and designated Blue Badge parking spaces. However, there are steps up to all aircraft displays.

- On-site car park available. Payment by debit/credit card (except American Express), Apple Pay, and Android Pay. Cash not accepted. Free for conference delegates.
- Dogs
- Guide and assistance dogs only; other dogs are not permitted.
