Radstock Museum is an award-winning museum in the centre of Radstock celebrating the heritage of the former Somerset Coalfield and the life of a typical Somerset coal miner and his family. Run entirely by volunteers with no government funding, it features permanent displays including a Victorian Schoolroom, a reconstructed coal mine, a miner's cottage kitchen, and a blacksmith's forge.

Adults £7.00; Child (6–15) £3.00; Child (5 and under) Free; Family (2 adults, 3 children) £17.00; Student concession (16+) £6.00. 50p discount with valid B&NES Discovery Card on Adult, Senior and Student tickets. Group (15+) £5.00 per person, single entry. Tickets valid for 12 months unlimited visits.
Opening hours
Tuesday to Saturday, February to November. Tue 2:00–5:00 pm; Wed–Sat 11:00 am–5:00 pm. Sun, Mon closed (Bank Holiday Mon open). Last admission 4:30 pm.
Accessibility
Wheelchair and pushchair friendly with a lift to upper galleries, level access on each floor, accessible toilet on the ground floor, seating throughout, and information boards with pictures and large font text. Unable to offer assisted evacuation from the upper floor; visitors who cannot use stairs are advised to restrict their visit to the ground floor. Designated disabled parking bays immediately in front of the entrance with additional spaces at Waterloo Road car park. Working assistance dogs welcome.
