The experience
About this day out
Lytham Hall is a Grade I listed Georgian house in Lancashire, once the ancestral home of the Clifton family across four centuries. Sir Cuthbert Clifton built a Jacobean manor house on the site in 1606, and in 1752 Thomas Clifton commissioned John Carr of York to build the Palladian house seen today. The estate includes 80 acres of parkland of archaeological interest dating back to the 12th century, when it was home to a priory of Benedictine monks.
