The Dales Countryside Museum is housed in Hawes’ former Victorian railway station and tells the story of the Yorkshire Dales and its people. Visitors can explore family-friendly galleries, an outdoor trail, and changing exhibitions.

Opening calendar
Open daily 10am to 5pm (February to October) and 10am to 4pm (November and December). Closed Christmas Eve to Boxing Day, New Year's Day, and 4–31 January 2027.
