Beer Quarry Caves feature guided tours of a 2,000-year-old man-made underground complex created by centuries of quarrying Beer Stone. The caverns, which supplied stone for major landmarks like Exeter Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, are described as having vaulted roofs and pillars resembling an underground cathedral.

Opening calendar
Open daily from 10:00am until Saturday 31st October 2026. Tours start at 10:30am, with subsequent tours every hour on the half-hour during busy times (last tour 3:30pm) or three tours a day two hours apart during quiet times (last tour 2:30pm).
