Opening hours
Mon–Sat 10:00am–5:30pm (Mon), 10:00am–6:00pm (Tue–Sat); Sun 1:00pm–4:30pm. Last entry 30 minutes before closing. The Shop 11:00am–4:30pm.
Accessibility
Wheelchair accessible with level access at the main entrance (50-inch door width) and throughout the ground floor and Abbey Shop. Discovery Museum and toilets accessed via ramp and lift (35-inch lift width). Tower Tours have steps and are not wheelchair accessible. Carers and support workers receive free entry. Ear defenders available for neurodivergent visitors.

No on-site car park. Nearest short-stay parking: The Podium, Northgate Street (5-min walk) and Southgate Car Park, St. James Parade (5-min walk). Four Park & Ride services available. Cycle rack at Orange Grove to the east of the Abbey.
