The experience

About this day out

Arundells is the former home of Sir Edward Heath KG MBE, Prime Minister and Statesman, located within Salisbury's Cathedral Close. The house was originally a medieval canonry, with the first recorded occupant being Henry of Blunston, Archdeacon of Dorset, from 1291 to 1316. The collection includes paintings by Churchill and Sargent, Chinese ceramics, David Lloyd George's writing desk and memorabilia from Nixon and Castro, set within a peaceful two-acre garden.
