The experience
About this day out
Arundel Castle dates back to 1067 and features surviving original features such as the Norman Keep, medieval Gatehouse and Barbican. The house was almost completely rebuilt between the 1870s and 1890s in Gothic style, considered one of the great works of Victorian England. The finely preserved interior contains furniture, tapestries and paintings by artists including Van Dyck, Gainsborough and Canaletto.
