The experience

About this day out

Amersham Museum, based largely in a medieval hall house at 49 High Street, Old Amersham, explores life in the town's past through intriguing objects and local stories. Visitors can sit at a Tudor dinner table, relax in a 1930s living room, listen to stories in a 1960s record shop, and wander through a medicinal herb garden. It is an independent museum and registered charity run almost entirely by volunteers.
